THE SHAME OF NITHARI---

It was the month of december when the news channels broke this news out in our drawing rooms- the beastly act of two animals who mercilessly kidnapped, assaulted and raped the innocent childrens and then brutally murdered them. i was shocked ,numbed and outraged ,so much that i could not sit in my drawingroom . i went out, got a material printed ,registering my protest and asking the citizens to join me in the protest. i made around two hundred copies and distributed them to the morning walkers, especially senior citizens including the esteemed judge but i was surprised as some other issue was more important for them than the issue of the safety of the minor childrens. then i went to the schools of the city and appealed to the principals, they showed some enthusiasm and held a protest day in their schools. but i wanted to make a bigger impact, some kind of a large protest rally asking govn to change their attitude towards child safety and the more prompt action on the behalf of the police dept towards the crime against the childrens. Not satisfied i wrote a letter to the president ,didnot get any reply. The issue refused to die down inside me and i continued to rage inside, this was the time when i took brush and started painting , agian not knowing what i would paint. finally i made this in which i have shown two faces on the extreme left and then a 'chamgadadh' and a 'gidhh' with a claw soaked in blood and childrens in their embrace , blood tripping from them. my mom said this is a horrible depiction of the incident but the incident disturbed me so much that i had to come out with this painting to de stress me to some extent.
